Pricing Your App
Figuring out how much to charge for your app is a balancing act. On one hand you want to make your product as accessible as possible. Going with a free or $0.99 price tag you’ll effectively ensure exposure to a broader audience and increase your volume of sales. More people will be inclined to try out your product, and you’ll in turn harvest more feedback & reviews. On the other...

To StatusBar or not to StatusBar?
We’ve had some pretty neat responses and considerations regarding Thermo - It’s great to see people invested in this and fun to share the process. Yesterday's Temperature
Asking around and researching features for the unnamed temperature app, something that kept coming up was the idea of being able to see yesterdays temperature. As Neven Mrgan articulated expertly in a rant on the native OS X weather app: “…And it would make room for a feature I’d really like to see in every weather widget, on the phone or TV or wherever: yesterday’s weather. The...

Introducing the Development Stream
In an attempt at sharing some of the work and upping the transparency over at robocat we’ve set up this tumblelog. The hope is that we’ll be able to post stuff from ongoing developments, ideas and snippets of interest to give you a glimpse of the life of a small upstart working on products they love.
